The HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting day-to-day human resources functions across the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring smooth and effective HR operations, including recruitment support, onboarding and offboarding, employee relations, compliance, and HR data management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, people-focused, and able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting day-to-day human resources functions across the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring smooth and effective HR operations, including recruitment support, onboarding and offboarding, employee relations, compliance, and HR data management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, people-focused, and able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Review, track, and document compliance with training, education, and assessments (e.g., safety, harassment, licensure).
- Recruit, interview, and facilitate hiring in collaboration with department managers.
- Conduct background checks and verify employment eligibility.
- Implement orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Administer programs related to compensation, benefits, leave, discipline, investigations, and more.
- Address employment inquiries and escalate sensitive matters appropriately.
- Participate in disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintain compliance with employment laws and recommend policy updates.
- Stay current on HR trends, regulations, and technology.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- At least 1 year of human resource management experience preferred.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Must be able to access and navigate organization facilities.
