Graphic Designer (Cannabis)

Title: Graphic Designer (Cannabis)
Location: United States (Remote)
Salary/Pay Rate: $70,000–$85,000 annually

Job Description
Platte River Services is a shared services group supporting a multi-state portfolio of companies that span production and retail operations built through acquisitions and growth. Our mission is to deliver best-in-class support, enabling operational growth and superior returns.

PRS is building an enduring, world-class company capable of operating under the standards of a highly regulated pharmaceutical business. Operating under these standards will lead to product and medical advancements that shape the future of marijuana-based therapies in our serviced markets.

We’re seeking a Graphic Designer with the opportunity to help define and evolve the creative identity of our fast-growing cannabis brand, Dialed In Gummies under the Sun Theory portfolio of brands. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the aesthetic across every customer and retail touchpoint—from packaging to digital to print—while collaborating cross-functionally with a team that moves fast and thinks big. This is a full-time salaried role ($70–$85K) with a preference for Austin, TX or Denver, CO-based candidates, but remote candidates will also be considered.

Ideal candidates have experience working in cannabis or other highly regulated industries where compliance and creativity must go hand in hand. You should be fluent in CPG visual trends and excited to work across multiple mediums and channels—quick to ideate, quick to execute, and confident presenting your ideas.

If you’re creative, organized, and ready to join one of the fastest-growing cannabis brands across multiple states, we want to hear from you.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Evolve the visual identity of the brand in collaboration with the Marketing and Product teams.
  • Design across a wide range of mediums: digital (social, web), packaging (complex integration of compliance across a large set of labels/SKUs), print, OOH, decks, sales collateral, and more.
  • Translate campaign concepts into on-brand visuals that are both creative and compliant with state-specific cannabis packaging laws.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (marketing, operations, compliance, and sales) to manage feedback and ensure all assets align with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare final, print-ready files and coordinate with print vendors and production timelines.
  • Stay up to date on design and cultural trends in cannabis, wellness, and consumer products.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • Preferred experience in cannabis, wellness, CPG, or other highly regulated industries.
  • 3–5 years of professional design experience (in-house or agency).
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical skill, and versatility across mediums.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Familiarity with tools like Figma, Canva, or Google Slides.
  • Bonus skills: 3D rendering, sizzle reels, video editing, light animation.
  • Experience using Monday for project and timeline management.
  • Understanding of design best practices for both print and digital formats.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to accept and implement feedback.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and eligible to work in the cannabis industry.

Application Instructions

  • Include a link or attachment to your portfolio.
  • Answer the following questions:
    • What brands do you admire (relevant to Dialed In) from a campaign, visual packaging, or aesthetic perspective?
    • What attracts you most to this role?
    • What hard or soft skills make you stand out?
