Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare accounts receivable transactions (invoices) and process incoming payments in accordance with Sun Theory financial policies and procedures.
• Perform and process day-to-day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, and matching accounts receivable data.
• Prepare bills, invoices, statements, and bank deposits.
• Collect, record, and process customer payments accurately and on time.
• Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
• Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues.
• Facilitate payment of invoices by sending bill reminders and contacting customers.
• Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.
• Assist with periodic inventory audits.
• Document policies, procedures, and workflows for assigned responsibilities.
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is a plus.
• Previous accounts payable experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and complete tasks with competing deadlines.
